KUALA LUMPUR - A HIV-POSITIVE gay casanova is believed to have conned nearly 200 young men of their money and valuables besides having sex with them.
So far, 193 youngsters have claimed to be victims of the man with at least 100 saying they had sex with him before they were cheated of money, laptops and other items.
The victims, some teenagers, said the casanova claimed to have fallen in love with them to gain their trust. His conquests were discovered after one victim posted a photo of the man on Facebook, and other victims recognised him.
One, who only wanted to be known as Lee, 24, said he met 'Alvin' through Facebook last August and they soon carried on a relationship.
'He came to my house last month and stayed with me for three days,' said Lee, who lost RM3,000 (S$1,253) when the casanova made off with his laptop, wallet and credit cards. He lodged a report with the Kota Damansara police station.
Another victim, Kor, 22, said he had been conned into sleeping with the man two years ago. 'He said he loved me and wanted me to be his boyfriend,' he said, adding that they had spent a night together in a hotel before the man ran off with the RM400 in Kor's wallet. 'I want him to be stopped before he harms more people,' said Kor, who has yet to get himself tested for HIV.

Man gets jail, caning for molesting daughter
A MAN who molested his 14-year-old daughter more than three years ago was jailed for 18 months and ordered to be given three strokes of the cane on Friday.
The 45-year-old lorry driver pleaded guilty earlier this week to touching the private parts of the girl - who has borderline intelligence - at their Sengkang flat in 2007.
The court heard that one day in 2007, the accused called the victim, now 18, into his bedroom to check whether she was still a virgin. His wife was not at home then.
He told her to keep quiet while he slipped his hand under her track pants and panties.
The offence came to light when the girl told her school teacher what her father had done in March 2010.
The accused could have been jailed for up to two years, fined, caned or received any of the punishments.

Probation called for poly student who was a pimp
A NANYANG Polytechnic student pleaded guilty on Thursday to living on the earnings of three Geylang prostitutes in January this year. Wong Jiong Yang, 18, also admitted to managing a place of assignation, which refers to the contact point for customers seeking the services of the prostitutes.
His sentencing was adjourned till next month for a pre-sentence report to be prepared so that the court can evaluate his suitability for probation.
A district court heard that a police officer attached to the Streetwalker Taskforce arrested three Thai women in a Geylang lodging house on the morning of Jan 24. The women, aged between 22 and 27, admitted they were prostitutes and that Wong was their pimp.
The Singaporean was subsequently arrested and investigations revealed that sometime in December 2010, he was offered a job by someone called Zen through an Internet chatroom.
Wong took up the offer, and the plan was for him to await instructions over the phone every evening. He would be told which alley to got to in the red-light district and solicit for the three prostitutes. Out of the $50 he collected from every customer, he kept $5.
At the end of the shift, which was usually in the early hours of the day, Zen would sent a runner on a motorcycle to collect the takings. As the boss was using an unlisted number, Wong had no means to contact him and had never met him. Neither had the prostitutes.

Indonesian police suspected of gang-raping teen
JAYAPURA (Indonesia) - INDONESIAN police said on Thursday four officers would be charged over the 'unforgivable' gang rape of a 15-year-old girl in Papua province.
The officers, along with three civilians, allegedly took turns raping the girl in a house in Biak city in February, Papua provincial spokesman Wachyono told AFP.
'We have completed our investigations. Some of the suspects confessed to the rape, some didn't,' he said.
'But we have spoken to witnesses and collected enough evidence to show they were guilty of rape and we'll be taking the case to court.' Local media reported that the men locked the teenager in a room and raped her repeatedly over a period of days. She was beaten if she resisted and lost consciousness as a result of the abuse.
'The officers committed a grave wrongdoing, a violation that is unforgivable and uncondonable and deserving of severe punishment. They have sullied the good name of the national police,' Mr Wachyono said.
Police are also investigating the alleged rape of a Papuan women who was forced to give oral sex to officers while she was being held in custody in the Papuan provincial capital of Jayapura.

Parents worried son will become teacher's sex slave
THE parents of a 21-year-old are worried that their son may become the sex slave of a teacher in her 30s, China Press reported.
The father, 61, showed reporters sexually explicit messages sent by the teacher to his son at a press conference.
He said the teacher had 'persuaded' his son, who is studying at a university in Penang, to run away from home with important documents.
'We are worried as we found out that the teacher was also transferred to Penang last month,' he said. The father added that his son met the teacher when he was working as a temporary teacher at the same school.
'We confronted him but he did not admit to the relationship. 'He said he would focus on his studies and would not be seeing her again,' he said. However, the father said he found out that they still kept in touch when he checked his son's text messages.

Bridesmaids molested by groom's 'brothers'
NINE bridesmaids were allegedly molested by male companions of the groom who were escorting him to the bride's residence.
This incident occurred in Xinhui, China, in February and the accounts of the victims were posted in an online forum.
The groom's friends, or 'brothers', broke into the bride's room without going through the Chinese customary rites of passing tests set upon them by the bridesmaids.
In Chinese customary weddings, it is tradition for the groom to be escorted by his male companions to 'win' the hand of his bride on the day of the wedding.
He will be stopped at her doorstep by the bridesmaids, or 'sisters', who will be guarding the door.
The sisters will ask for a red packet and the groom, with the help of his brothers, is required to pass all tests before they are allowed to receive the bride.
This is considered an auspicious custom and is practised in Singapore as well.
This shocking incident came to light when a detailed post was submitted on Jinringuanzhu.net, a popular Canton newscast online forum.
The post was written by six of the victims.
According to the victims, the brothers dismissed the traditions, broke into the house and went straight to the bride's room.
The terrified bridesmaids, while hearing them coming into the house, ran into the bathroom and locked the door.
One of them, who was too slow, was pinned to the floor by the brothers. They grabbed her breasts, as well as her private part.
They then broke into the bathroom and molested the girls inside, despite their pleas to ask them to stop.
One of the victims wrote that she screamed for help, but no one came to their rescue.
"The bride and groom, as well as other people were standing around and watching us being molested," wrote the victim.
The posts also reveal that other people, mostly her family, relatives and friends, were at the bride's place, and had witnessed the incident but did nothing to help.
Instead, they continued with the wedding ceremony afterwards, as if nothing happened.
One of the victims wrote: "The bridesmaid's relatives saw us crying and attempted to comfort us by saying, 'It's over now, it's ok'. I felt terrified."
Another victim said that while they were being molested, she heard one of the brother's talking on the phone and telling the other party that he was "there to squeeze breasts".
This daring outrage of modesty is seemingly becoming a common practice in various parts of China, according to some netizens.
One of the netizens who read the article commented that such "practice" has been popular for some time, hence few are willing to be bridesmaids.
Another wrote that she had encountered the same incident in 2009 when attending her cousin's wedding.
"We had around 20 girls in the sister's troop. Those guys came especially to molest us. My cousin's sister is the victim. How awful!" she wrote.
The bridesmaids have lodged a report with the local police and are awaiting further investigation.
According to the victims, the newlyweds told them it was none of their business and even offered to pay them a few hundred yuan to settle the issue out of court.
The bridesmaids rejected the offer and protested angrily: "They treat us as prostitutes!"
The victims are currently appealing to the residents of Xinhui for help.

Teacher held after molest report by 11 students
ELEVEN female students of a secondary school in Ampang, Selangor have lodged police reports against a disciplinary teacher, alleging that he had molested them.
Nanyang Siang Pau, Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported that the teacher had touched the students' chests in the incident last Friday.
China Press reported that police had detained the teacher.
The From Three students, along with two male students were brought to a room for punishment as they had skipped the morning assembly.
Nanyang Siang Pau reported that after the punishment, the teacher took the excuse to check their heartbeats and then touched their chests.
