Man jailed for raping stepdaughter, from when she was 10

Nora's parents were divorced when she was only three, and she had longed for a father figure.

When her mum started dating and married Ahmad, she treated him like her own father.

But he took advantage of the girl's trust and raped her in 2006 when she was only 10. And she suffered in silence until 2010, when she told her biological father what had happened.

Yesterday, Ahmad, 40, was sentenced to 26 years’ in jail and 24 strokes of the cane.

Posed as boy to be with girl

LEBANON (Ohio) - AUTHORITIES say an Ohio woman pretended to be a 14-year-old boy so she could have a sexual relationship with a teenage girl.

Springboro police Sergeant Bob Marchiny says that 31-year-old Patricia Dye of Franklin used the alias Matt Abrams as the 16-year-old girl's boyfriend, and that the girl did not know Dye was a woman.

Dye was arrested June 30, and Sergeant Marchiny says she admitted the deception. A message seeking comment was left Wednesday for her attorney.

Dye is charged with unlawful sexual conduct with and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A Warren County judge sent the case to a grand jury Tuesday.

Dye is being held in the Butler County jail on US$100,000 (S$138,000) bond. -- AP
