A SINGAPORE Armed Forces 1st Sergeant who used his cellphone to film a woman in the shower was jailed for two weeks on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old admitted to intruding into the privacy of the the 27-year-old woman, who is the sister of his girlfriend, at her flat last July 11.
The court heard that the woman came home past midnight and saw the accused playing with the computer in the living room. She proceeded to the kitchen toilet to take her shower.
The accused then used his black mobile phone to take video footage of the complainant from the top of the bathroom door.
The victim was reaching out for the towel hang over the toilet door when she was shocked to see the cellphone which was immediately withdrawn. The accused left and was on his way home when he deleted the video after viewing it.
The accused said he had been suspended from work since September and regretted his 'small mistake'.

10-year-old abducted from school and molested
A 10-YEAR-OLD girl almost fell victim to rape after she was abducted by a stranger at her school gate.
Harian Metro said the student went through an hour of hell as the man, who was in his 30s, molested her in the bushes located about 2km from the school in Kuala Lumpur at 9am on Tuesday.
Police sources said the girl was saved after the man ran off when he heard voices of passers-by. Earlier, the girl had left her classroom to go to the washroom. On her way there, she was greeted by the man at the school gate.
Suddenly, the man grabbed her and tied her up. He placed her on his motorcycle before speeding off. When they got to the bushes, she cried in fear and begged for mercy as the suspect began to molest her, a police source said.
The girl walked back to her school and her parents later lodged a report at the Setapak police station.
Kuala Lumpur Criminal and Intelligence Operations chief Khairi Rasa confirmed receiving the report and said a search had been launched for the suspect.

Students turn back alley into sex den
MALACCA - A GROUP of delinquent secondary school students have turned the back alley of a commercial centre in Jalan Gajah Berang into a pre-dawn 'sin and sex' paradise.
The students converge at the area as early as 5.30am before going 'wild' some explicitly engaging in sexual acts which traders in the area claim to have witnessed almost daily since the beginning of the year. Many were spotted smoking before the school session started at 7.40am.
'These students have gone wild. We have caught them kissing at back lanes. They have no shame even if someone watches them. They caress, kiss and even indulge in oral sex in the semi-lit alleys,' said a trader, 45, who requested anonymity.
The Star visited the area at 5.30am and discovered a teenage girl in school uniform fondling and kissing her peer at the back lane of a fast food outlet. At another part of the alley, 10 students including schoolgirls were smoking even after they were aware of the media's presence in the area.
The principal of one of the schools near the alley encouraged the media to highlight the students' behaviour in the hope that police would intensify patrols in the area.
State police chief Datuk Chuah Ghee Lye said police would dispatch school liaison officers to all three schools to meet with the principals. 'We will investigate the traders' claims and step up our patrols. We have to nip this in the bud,' he said.

Girl raped by Uncle for a year
A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl was repeatedly raped by her uncle in Kg Sungai Dengkil in Teluk Intan for the past one year, but the horrific act only came to light two days ago.
Tamil Nesan reported that the girl's mother saw her behaving strangely on Sunday night and questioned her.
The mother was shocked when told that her 25-year-old brother had raped the girl a few hours earlier in an unoccupied house.
She was doubly shocked when her daughter admitted that her uncle, who is a fisherman, had been raping her for the past one year.
The mother lodged a police report which led to the detention of the man.
He had been remanded for seven days.

Taiwan cracks down on teen prostitution ring
TAIPEI - TWO 15-year-old boys were arrested in northern Taiwan for allegedly pimping at least a dozen girls aged as young as 12, police said on Wednesday.
The boys allegedly recruited the girls via the Internet and arranged for them to work in tea houses and hotels in New Taipei City for about NT$2,000 (S$86.50) a time, police said.
'The girls wanted to buy designer products and they wanted to enjoy life. They used various excuses to hide this from their parents, and some parents even covered for them when they missed school,' said a police spokesman.
The Liberty Times newspaper named the boys Taiwan's youngest ever pimps, saying they lived in an apartment with three of the girls.
'We didn't steal, we didn't rob. We were merely helping girls in trouble,' one of them said, according to the paper. Television footage showed some girls sporting expensive designer bags and giggling while they were taken to a police station on Tuesday.
The boys face a maximum seven-year jail term for pimping. If convicted, they are likely to be placed in a juvenile correctional facility. The girls will be sent to a special school for teenagers forced into sex work, or they will be put into foster care if necessary, according to the police.

The girl claimed that she was hypnotised by a man in his 20s at their first meeting during lunch on a working day.
She said the man looked straight into her eyes while muttering something to himself. A police source said the woman claimed that she could not remember being raped even after the suspect sent her back to the office hours later.
She only realised something was amiss the next morning after she woke up. She recollected that she was taken into a Taman Bukit Permai house in Ampang the day earlier and was raped.
'The victim, who suddenly realised what had happened, called the man but he turned off his phone.

TWO days after molesting his teenage sister-in-law, a man went on to touch his eight-year-old stepdaughter.
The 39-year-old man earlier pleaded guilty to two counts of outrage of modesty and one charge of drug consumption. Another molestation charge was consiered during his sentencing.
A district court heard that the accused's 14-year-old sister-in-law was in the living room watching television and talking on the phone when he came and stroked her thigh. He also kissed her on the cheek.
Two days later, he molested his young stepdaughter, who was watching television at the time.
Investigation showed that he had also touched the girl improperly on a few previous occasions.
District Judge Jasbendar Kaur agreed with the prosecution that his conduct was reprehensible. She jailed the cleaner seven years and six strokes for taking morphine in February, and a total of 21 months and three strokes on the two molestation charges. All the sentences are consecutive.

Metro Ahad reported Abdul Rahim Abu Bakar as saying queen termites had special properties similar to that of viagra. He said the bug must be swallowed alive 15 minutes before the start of sexual activity for it to be effective.
'The effect is as if we are running in a marathon non-stop,' claimed the 45-year-old man, who said he started eating queen termites seven years ago.
Abdul Rahim claimed the price of a queen termite can be as high as between RM2,500 and RM5,000, depending on its size and colour.
He said that he once pocketed RM7,000 by selling three queen termites. Well-known gynaecologist Datuk Dr Ismail Thamby, however, brushed off Abdul Rahim's claim as just a myth.
'If there is any effect, it is only psychological in nature because the person who eats it believes it works,' he said.

Korean drama fan ends up being raped by duo
A KOREAN drama fan was gang-raped after she followed a man she befriended on the Internet to his house to watch a Korean drama series.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the incident took place at about 10pm on Tuesday at a house in Bandar Manjalara, Kuala Lumpur.
She met the man for the first time on Tuesday and he persuaded her to follow him home to watch a new Korean drama series he had just bought.
She was left alone to watch the drama in a room. A few moments later, the man suddenly entered and raped her. When he was through, his housemate then raped her.
Police are looking for both men.

Australia 'holy man' jailed for black magic sex crimes
SYDNEY - A 'HOLY man' who lured women into having sex with him to rid themselves of black magic curses they thought would cause death in their families was on Friday jailed in Australia for at least 15 years.
Tony Golossian, 63, seen by some in Sydney's Greek community as a holy man who could communicate with angels, was sentenced for 24 offences relating to the rapes of two women after being found guilty last December.
Co-accused Arthur Psichogios, 41, was jailed for at least 12 years and his wife Frances Psichogios, 38, who was convicted over the drugging and assault of one victim, was sent to prison for five years. The charges relate to two victims who were told black magic curses had been placed on them and were forced into sex 'prayer sessions' to free themselves.
The judge said the emotional harm caused to both women was 'substantial', Australian Associated Press reported.
She said the first victim, who suffered a 'terrible ordeal' over four and a half years, had been 'cruelly manipulated into bizarre behaviour' and in effect 'brainwashed'.
The offenders all maintained their innocence. The sentencing took place in a Sydney court surrounded by riot police after the officer in charge of the case was attacked, allegedly by a relative of one of the defendants, following the conviction hearing.

Wife leaves man who married 15 others
A WOMAN claimed that her husband might have married up to 15 other women, each in different states, reported Metro Ahad.
After finding out she was actually the fifth wife, Ms Zairina Abdullah, 34, decided to end their two-year marriage and help the other women involved with the man.
'I was contacted by a woman who claimed to be the fourth wife, and I confronted my husband. I later spoke to my in-laws who confirmed their son had brought different women home each time he got married.
'They had never given their blessing to any other marriage other than his first,' said Ms Zairina, who only knew her husband for four months before agreeing to marry him in Thailand. The report stated that she managed to contact four wives, two in Selangor and one each in Johor and Perlis, but was unable to trace the others.
'I used to frequently follow him to see four different bomoh to curse his fourth wife. That was another reason I decided to leave him,' added Ms Zairina. Ms Zairina, a divorcee with two children, said she had an early miscarriage due to constant mental and physical abuse she suffered at the hands of the man, who also abused his fourth wife Nisa Abdullah, 27.
'I was often tortured and he also made daily threats to divorce and called me a whore,' said Ms Nisa, who got married when she was still a university student. We had two children together but their births could not be registered because my husband had submitted forged identity documents when we got married.'
