KUANTAN - A RUBBER tapper was charged with hurting his wife by biting her genitals on Wednesday.
Mohd Shakri Ismail, 28, was charged with causing injury to his wife Roshapida Mat Sidik, 23, while trying to have sex with her at their home.
Mohd Shakri, who was unrepresented, told the judge that he had never hurt his wife.
The judge then asked him why there were bite marks on his wife's genitals.
Mohd Shakri stood silent at the question and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
If convicted, he can be jailed up to five years.

Pregnant woman raped in US home invasion
CENTRAL FALLS (Rhode Island) - THREE armed men broke into an apartment and raped a woman who is seven months pregnant while her 9-year-old son was home, police said.
The woman, who is in her 20s, was asleep with her son early on Saturday morning when three men kicked in the door to her third-floor apartment in Central Falls, police said. She was threatened at gunpoint, and one of the men raped her in a bathroom, police Captain James Mendonca said.
The boy was in the bedroom during the rape and 'might have overheard something', he said. The alleged victim told WLNE-TV that the boy saw 'everything'.
The men also took a game system and television set from the apartment, but the woman refused to tell police whether any firearms or drugs were stolen, Cpt Mendonca said. He said the stolen items have not been recovered.
The woman reported the attack to authorities at 3.10am on Saturday, Cpt Mendonca said. One suspect was taken into custody, charged and later released, Cpt Mendonca said. He refused to name the man or say what charges were filed.
The victim suffered minor scrapes and abrasions. She was taken to a hospital, where a rape kit was used to gather evidence.

She ended up becoming a cocaine addict and continued.
The 43-year-old also got her to also have sex with his friends.
The victim, now 22, said: "One time Levi told me he wanted to have sex with my 11-year-old sister."
"This really upset me. I told him he wasn't going anywhere near her.
"He then started saying he would wait until she got to the right age.
"He also told me he wanted to have sex with my mum."
Another victim, Milly Dowler was on her way home from school when she was abducted and killed.
Ex-Detective Chief Insp Colin Sutton said Bellfield fancied himself as a romeo and would go fly into a fit of rage if girls rejected him and would kill them.
Marsha McDonnell, 19, was bludgeoned as she got off a bus, 11 months after Milly was abducted.
Another victim Amelie Delagrange, 22, was ambushed with a hammer.
Sutton said: "Amelie and Marsha were probably killed simply because they rejected his approach while walking down the street."
A former workmate of wheel-clamper Bellfield told police: "I'd describe Levi as an animal."
Ricky Brouilliard revealed Bellfield offered to let him sleep with one of his teenage girlfriends and her younger sister.
He said, "His girlfriend was a naive little girl and he didn't treat her very well. Her sister was a tiny girl, 14 years old. He told me he had sex with her and he said, 'Do you want to buy her off me?'"

Lorry driver held for raping 12yo stepdaughter for 2yrs

Although the girl had complained about the acts to her mother, she did not believe her and instead beat her daughter up.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab said police arrested the suspect in his house at Batu 9, Cheras, on Wednesday after the victim’s brother lodged a report.
“He last raped her in November last year,” he said at the Kajang police headquarters here yesterday.
It is learnt that the victim had been living with her mother and stepfather since she was an infant.
ACP Abdul Rashid said the victim could no longer stand the beatings from her mother and stepfather, and had sought help from her brother who lives in Wangsa Maju.
The victim’s brother accompanied her to lodge a report at the Wangsa Maju police station on Tuesday. The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape and the suspect has been remanded until June 27 pending investigations.

5 years jail, caning for man who molested boy, 10
A PART-TIME cleaner was jailed for five years and ordered to be given eight strokes of the cane for molesting a young boy.
Desiyantoh Zainal, 27, was naked when he grabbed the 10-year-old and molested him at an HDB staircase landing in Bukit Batok on March 15.
The court heard that the victim and his cousin were playing when they saw Desiyantoh coming down from the staircase. He was naked from the waist down and covered his mouth with his T-shirt.
The victim claimed that Desiyantoh had asked for their names but they did not reply and wanted to run back to their unit. Desiyantoh managed to grab hold of the victim's left arm and pulled the boy towards him and committed the offence.
He has similar convictions in 2004 and 2007.
He could have been jailed for up to 10 years for the aggravated molestation. For appearing in the nude, he could have been fined up to $2,000 or jailed for up to three months or to both.

Police detain man on suspicion of violating 5 preschool girls
SHANGHAI - A male staff member of a kindergarten in Minhang district has been detained on suspicion of sexually violating five girls, Minhang police said on Tuesday.
Police said they received reports on June 16 from two parents that their daughters had been violated at the Shanghai Minhang district's Tongxing kindergarten.
Police investigated the case immediately and decided that a 35-year-old male staff member, surnamed Han, was a suspect. They detained Han later that day.
Police have been visiting students and parents since June 16 to further investigate the case.
Han might have sexually violated the girls when they took an afternoon sleep, according to investigators' initial findings.
The kindergarten is a privately run preschool. Its monthly charge is about 400 yuan ($76.45). Currently more than 200 students attend the school.
Parents said the kindergarten has been running for more than a year. However, approval for planning and constructing the kindergarten by Minhang education bureau was dated Dec 28, 2010, according to a file published on the Minhang district government's website.
The registered fund of the kindergarten is 400,000 yuan (S$76,450) and the entire investment is 800,000 yuan (S$152,901). The purpose of the kindergarten is to educate migrant workers' children aged from three to six, according to the file.
Han, the suspect, is a cousin of one of the kindergarten's supervisors, Shanghai Television reported.
A girl told her parents that a man at the kindergarten had been constantly "touching" her for more than a year, and the parents later found similar cases at the kindergarten and called the police, said a parent who spoke on condition of anonymity, reported xinmin.net, a Shanghai news website.
The kindergarten was still operating normally on Tuesday, according to xinmin.net.
A clerk with Minhang education bureau, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told China Daily on Tuesday afternoon that the bureau was aware of the case, and discussions about the case were to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, but he declined to make any comment before police have concluded their investigation.
The police are still looking into the case, according to the district police bureau.
This case draws attention to the quality of privately run kindergartens, which have been encouraged to open in Shanghai to satisfy demand for preschool education for the increasing number of migrants workers' children.
Earlier reports said the number of migrant workers' children in Shanghai who are of preschool age would increase to 200,000 by 2012 from the current 80,000.
To increase resources for preschool education and seek ways to accommodate these migrant children, the Shanghai education commission announced last year that it plans to build more than 400 kindergartens within five years.
These kindergartens will be built mainly in migrant population areas, such as Baoshan district, Minhang district and Pudong New Area.
"The government should increase supervision for these private kindergartens," said Gao Shuang, a teacher at a public kindergarten in the city.
"Meanwhile, a comprehensive training and assessment system should be set up for the kindergartens' staff members to ensure the healthy growth of children."
A local resident, surnamed Xie, whose son will enter kindergarten next year, said: "While setting up more kindergartens in the city, under no circumstances should authorities neglect the quality of instruction at these preschools, especially privately run ones.
"Unlike public kindergartens, teachers, facilities and education standards at private kindergartens are still cause for concern," Xie said.

A FREELANCE religious teacher was brought to court on Friday for molesting a housing agent.
Misti Talimin, 51, allegedly used an egg to rub on the chest of the 42-year-old woman at a flat in Woodlands on Dec 16 2010.
Misti, who is represented by a lawyer, faces a jail term of up to two years and/or a fine upon conviction.
No caning will be imposed for those aged 50 and above.
A pre-trial conference will be held on July 18.

Rapist, 53, dies while raping woman, 77
A CONVICTED child rapist in the United States died while raping an elderly woman at knifepoint in her home.
Authorities say that while he was raping his 77-year-old victim at knifepoint, he told her he wasn't feeling well and stopped having sex with her so he could rest.
Moments later he then went back to fondling her briefly before he rolled over and died.
Police believe the man died from a heart attack after cycling the 3km to his victim's house.
According to a local newspaper, the woman saw Gutierrez at a local post office one day before the attack. During the attack, she thought Gutierrez passed out from drinking because she smelled alcohol on his breath.
After he lost consciousness, the woman drove away from her house and called her daughter, who then alerted authorities.

When he finally opened the door minutes later, the couple checked his cellphone and found two video clips taken five days earlier of an unknown woman. There was no footage of the victim herself and the couple let him go after noting down his particulars.
The next day, on Jan 17, she changed her mind after seeing Wong manning the chicken rice stall in the food court in Punggol Plaza. The victim, who works as a telephone operator in the vicinity, called the police and he was arrested.

Man accused of molesting boy
A 37-YEAR-OLD man was charged in court on Monday with molesting an 11-year-old boy at a staircase of a shopping mall.
Azmanshah Zailamshah is alleged to have touched the boy's private parts at the basement 1 staircase of Tiong Bahru Plaza last Saturday.
Police were on anti-crime patrols at about 3pm at the Tiong Bahru Road shopping mall when they spotted a man entering the stairwell with a boy.
They checked, and found the man bare-bodied and the boy clad only in his underwear. He tried to flee but was detained.
Azmanshah was remanded for investigation for a week as he is believed to be involved in other criminal cases.
If convicted, he can be jailed for up to five years, fined, caned or received any combined punishment.

Azmanshah Zailamshah is alleged to have touched the boy's private parts at the basement 1 staircase of Tiong Bahru Plaza last Saturday.
Police were on anti-crime patrols at about 3pm at the Tiong Bahru Road shopping mall when they spotted a man entering the stairwell with a boy.
They checked, and found the man bare-bodied and the boy clad only in his underwear. He tried to flee but was detained.
Azmanshah was remanded for investigation for a week as he is believed to be involved in other criminal cases.
If convicted, he can be jailed for up to five years, fined, caned or received any combined punishment.

Ex-teacher jailed for sex with underage student
A FORMER school teacher who had sex with a 15-year-old female student was sentenced to 10 months' jail on Friday.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of sexual penetration of a minor at her home in Woodlands on May 20 last year.
He is not being named to protect the identity of the girl, now 16
A district court heard that early last year, the accused, who was the victim's co-form teacher, exchanged contact details with the girl who was asked to get a letter from her parent to explain why she had not turned up in school for a few days.
They went for a movie in March 2010 and entered into a secret romantic relationship. About two months later, he went to her home and had sex with her. They ended their relationship in June last year.
The accused, who had a second charge considered, was given two weeks to settle his affairs before going to jail. He could have been jailed for up to 10 years and/or fined.

One in six Australian female students are raped!
SYDNEY - ABOUT one in six Australian female university students have been raped, and many more sexually assaulted or harassed, during their life, a survey released on Friday showed.
The findings were contained in a National Union of Students poll of more than 1,500 women studying at university. It found that 17 per cent of respondents had been raped and 12 per cent had experienced attempted rape, although the assaults did not necessarily occur while they were at university.
The union's women's officer Courtney Sloane said the online survey showed that violence against women was unacceptably high. 'Women at university tend to come from middle-class and upper middle-class social groups, and the survey shows they have experienced sexual assault, harassment, and obsessive behaviours at a high level,' she told the Sydney Morning Herald.
The study found that 67 per cent of respondents had been through an unwanted sexual experience of some kind, with 31 percent saying they had had sex when they were, or had felt, unable to consent. Some 17 per cent of those who completed the survey between September 2010 and March 2011 said they had experienced stalker-like obsessive behaviour.
In most cases of sexual assault (56 per cent) the offender was a friend or acquaintance, and in 22 per cent of instances the woman knew the perpetrator intimately, it reported. Rarely were the assaults investigated, with only two percent of women taking the matter to police, mostly because they thought it was not serious enough to report.
The figures are above numbers obtained by a 2005 Australian Bureau of Statistics personal safety survey which found that 19 per cent of women had experienced sexual violence since the age of 15. Bus driver shows woman porn, then tries to rape her
AN EXPRESS bus driver in Jasin, Malaysia, showed an Indonesian woman a pornographic film before allegedly trying to rape her in the vehicle, reported Harian Metro.
The incident, which occurred at 10.45pm on Tuesday, happened when the 38-year-old suspect was driving the bus from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka Sentral but took a detour to an oil palm estate in Jalan Tiang Dua-Bukit Kajang before attempting to rape the woman.
The woman, a masseuse at a reflexology centre, told the man off for playing the clip when she was the last passenger on the bus.
However, the driver ignored her and took off his pants after stopping at a secluded area.
The woman was rescued when two police officers patrolling the area suspected something amiss and examined the bus.
Jasin police official Che Suza Che Hitam said the patrol unit decided to check the bus because its engine was still running and they heard a woman screaming from inside.

Gaddafi ordered sex drugs for Libya rapes: Prosecutor
UNITED NATIONS - INVESTIGATORS have evidence that Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi ordered mass rapes and bought containers of sex drugs for troops to attack women, the chief ICC prosecutor said on Wednesday.
Mr Luis Moreno-Ocampo said he may ask for a new charge of mass rape to be made against Gaddafi following the new evidence. The chief International Criminal Court prosecutor is expecting a decision from judges within days on his request for crimes against humanity charges against the Libyan leader.
'Now we are getting some information that Gaddafi himself decided to rape and this is new,' Mr Moreno-Ocampo told reporters. He said there were reports of hundreds of women attacked in some areas of Libya, which is in the grip of a months-long internal rebellion.
Mr Moreno-Ocampo said there was evidence that the Libyan authorities bought 'Viagra-type' medicines and gave them to troops as part of the official rape policy.
'They were buying containers to enhance the possibility to rape women,' he said. 'We had doubts at the beginning but now we are more convinced that he decided to punish using rapes,' the prosecutor said. 'It was very bad - beyond the limits, I would say.'
Gaddafi's regime had not previously been known for using rape as a weapon against political opponents. 'Rape is a new attribute of his repression,' the prosecutor said. 'Now we are confirming that there was a policy to rape in Libya.'

Couples use supermarket carpark for sex
A SUPERMARKET carpark in Kota Baru, Malaysia, has turned into a meeting point for couples to have sex during their lunch break, reported Harian Metro.
The couples need only pay RM2 (S$0.82) per entry and they usually arrive in separate vehicles to avoid being spotted by acquaintances before engaging in sexual acts inside their cars in dimly-lit areas of the carpark.
Supermarket workers could view what was going on through CCTVs installed at strategic spots in the carpark.
'I have seen couples having sex in their cars,' a source said.

Jailed for molesting waitress at Dragonfly Pub
A PATRON of the Dragonfly Pub at St James Power Station had one drink too many and ended up outraging the modesty of a waitress in January this year. Lin Guocheng, 37, was sentenced to three months' jail by a district court on Wednesday.
The Chinese national pleaded guilty to using criminal force by grabbing the right breast of the 26-year-old waitress as she was coming down the spiral staircase in the pub from the second storey. The victim cannot be named for this is a molest case.
She was heading down to the first floor to get glasses at 11.45pm on Jan 22. The court heard he had been drinking alcohol and immediately after committing the offence, he went to hide under the spiral staircase and squatted there.
The waitress, also a Chinese national, demanded he come out and when he did, he apologised to her and walked away. She informed a bouncer of the pub, who detained Lin and called the police.

Girl, 8, raped in toilet during wedding
PETALING JAYA - AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl was raped when she went to the toilet during a wedding reception on Saturday night.
Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Adnan Abdullah said the girl had accompanied her elder sister and brother-in-law for the wedding, which was held at a school in Sekinchan.
At about 9pm, she told her relatives that she needed to relieve herself. Her brother-in-law escorted her to the toilet and waited outside for about 15 minutes. When the brother-in-law asked her what was taking her so long, she replied that she wasn't finished yet. 'He then went to wait at the school canteen about 10m away from the toilet.
'Moments later, he heard a scream and rushed to the toilet. He then saw a naked man running out,' SAC Adnan said at the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters yesterday.
SAC Adnan said the brother-in-law managed to catch the man with the help of some wedding guests before rushing the girl to the Klang Hospital for treatment.
The man, in his 20's, had two previous convictions for robbery. He will be remanded for five days. SAC Adnan said the girl was traumatised by the incident.

Man regrets having paid sex with man
A 38-year-old man regretted soliciting sex from a prostitute in China.
The man - surnamed Zeng, who was on an outstation assignment to Liuzhou in Guangxi province, bumped into a prostitute at Jiangbin Park.
In dim lighting, he saw that the woman was quite pretty. He gave her 60 yuan (RM28) for a round of sex.
Just as they finished having sex in a room at a back lane, police ambushed the premises.
Zeng jumped out of the window in an attempt to flee but was arrested, while the prostitute, surnamed Tan, was detained in the room.
As the pair reached the police station, Zeng was shocked when reporters told him the prostitute was a 42-year-old man.
He was speechless for a while. Then he said: "I never expected I would be cheated by a man!
"Who is that stupid?" he added.
Tan made around 800 to 1,000 yuan (RM371 – RM463) a month from the sex trade.
Also arrested in the raid last week were two other transvestites, a woman and a male customer.
Police also seized a large amount of condoms, pornographic films and estrogen pills from them.

Man, 22 Arrested For Raping 5-year-old Girl

Stepfather makes teen his 'sex slave'
A FIFTEEN-year-old teenage girl ran away from home after her stepfather made her his 'sex slave' and sexually abused her at least 11 times, reported Harian Metro.
Her mother was aware of the abuse, yet remained silent. A source told the daily that the victim had on numerous occasions complained to her mother but her pleas went unheeded.
'The victim's mother advised her to put up with it so her husband wouldn't leave her,' he said, adding that the couple had been married for about three months.
He said the man became bolder after realising his wife would not take any action. The man, in his thirties, then began to approach the victim every time his wife was out of the house.
'Unable to stand the abuses anymore, the victim ran away to her aunt's house in Bangi for protection because she didn't feel safe,' he said.
Accompanied by her aunt, the teenager lodged a report at the Pandan Indah police station in Kuala Lumpur on Monday. Ampang Jaya deputy OCPD Supt Md Nazri Zawawi confirmed receiving the report.
