KUANTAN - A RUBBER tapper was charged with hurting his wife by biting her genitals on Wednesday.
Mohd Shakri Ismail, 28, was charged with causing injury to his wife Roshapida Mat Sidik, 23, while trying to have sex with her at their home.
Mohd Shakri, who was unrepresented, told the judge that he had never hurt his wife.
The judge then asked him why there were bite marks on his wife's genitals.
Mohd Shakri stood silent at the question and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
If convicted, he can be jailed up to five years.
