Took part in Hong Kong University exchange program, Singaporean female undergrad gang-raped

22-year-old Singaporean female undergrad was drinking in a pub in Hong Kong, claimed she was raped six times by three men.

According to szhk.com, a 22-year-old Singaporean female undergrad was drinking alone at a pub in Lan Kwai Fong on 28th June. She was drunk and three Nepali men, including two brothers, who were working in the pub chatted her up.

They invited her to a yacht party, but after accompanying her by cab to a yacht in Causeway Bay, they took turns to rape her.

She was unable to overcome them and the men escaped after that.

The victim woke up next morning and found herself alone in the yacht, partially undressed. She then called the police and said she was raped six times by the three Nepali men.

The police immediately began investigation and sent her to the hospital for checkup. The case was classified as rape and handled over to the coast guard police for investigation.

One 20-year-old man will be charged with rape in court today. Another two men, aged 20 and 21-year-old, are alleged to assist and abet rape.

The police went to the yacht and pub for investigation and looked through the cctv footages. They then caught one man first around Lan Kwai Fong area, then based on the statements, arrested the other two men at their apartment. The 21-year-old man is currently on bail and will be reporting to the police station this month.

The female victim was studying in an university in Singapore and she took part in an exchange program to study in Hong Kong. She's staying in the Hong Kong University hostel. The coast guard police is still investigating the case.
